Chreastmas

Ok, now I understand what I'm about to say may seem a little crazy with everything going on right now but I wanted to spread a little joy and see how far it would reach. The sheer amount of kindness shown by an incredible amount of people towards myself and my family in the last few weeks has been uplifting to say the least.

So with that said, since my most recent medical update I'm aware that I will not be around for Christmas, but when I was told 12 months, my main goal was to make it there. So now that that is out of my hands, why not bring Christmas to us?! 🎁

This is where Chreastmas is born (if anyone can think of a better name, please feel free 😂). On Easter weekend in the Breen household, we are going to put our Christmas decorations up and celebrate. Eat what we want, watch films, exchange little gifts, and - depending on the status of current supermarket deliveries 😖 - have a big fat feast. I understand not everyone is in the right position with exchanging gifts and so forth but the point is to SPREAD JOY. Put up your tree! 🎄🐰 Yes, I'm aware how bonkers that sounds. 🙈

I get that there's families that may get in real trees (or have really extravagant ones which take a whole day to put up), maybe we could take a leaf out of the "Chase the Rainbow" idea and draw a Chreastmas tree to stick in the window instead? Have some Easter eggs hanging off them instead of baubles? Go nuts!

P.S. I'm more than aware of how incredibly insane this might make me seem, but it's this sort of stuff that is giving me something to look forward to. 💕
